AI has long promised to solve humanity's most pressing problems. We believe self-accelerating AI R&D is the most direct path to realizing that potential.

For the first time, there are real signs of AI being able to do meaningful AI research. Not just assist — actually do it. The lab that automates this loop will go beyond building better models. It will build the thing that is capable of continually improving itself toward any goal.

We are a frontier lab building systems that excel at AI R&D. We train frontier models that are exceptional at it and redesign the entire lab from scratch around them to make the full loop faster, more capable, and more autonomous.

When this works, it works for everyone. Today, any lab trying to use AI in drug discovery, chemistry, biology, or robotics must also become a frontier AI lab – a process that is expensive and requires expertise concentrated in a small number of labs. Our goal is to democratize frontier AI R&D and make it widely accessible. Our work will accelerate every scientific and technological effort that depends on AI.

We are building one of the most capable systems for achieving ambitious goals so that our most pressing problems will no longer be bottlenecked by AI R&D, and science can progress at the rate it deserves. We think this is how discovery will be done in the near future. Mirendil¹ is the first lab from the future.
